Use this opt out form…

  • to obtain agreement from the employee to occasionally or regularly work over the 48 hours per week (including hours worked with another employer) permitted by the Working Time Regulations 1998 (under no obligation).
  • to ensure that the employee understands their rights in relation to the opt out.

This form covers…

  • The fact that there is no obligation on the employee to work over 48 hours.
  • The fact that there is no obligation on the employer to provide work to the employee in excess of 48 hours.
  • The fact that the employee can opt back into the Working Time Regulations.
